HBO orders pilot for 'Game of Thrones'

Will they green light fantasy with titties?

 

I wonder who they're gonna cast for Cersei?

 

Seems like I read an identical article about 2 years ago.

 

They had ordered a script treatment before, this is the actual greenlight.

 

My enjoyment of the TV version of this would hang completely on how well they portray the Tyrion character. In fact I'd imagine many of the characters are too complicated for television, but they did pull it off with Sopranos and Deadwood.

 

Sounds like True Blood's popularity might be helping this a long.

 

well, i got goosebumps. i think the scope of the books is far too epic for a far television treatment, but i guess we'll see.
