While listening to the post-game program with Jeff Ward, etc on 590 AM last night, someone commented that Colt has more touchdowns than incompletions this year. I did not hear if that was for the season, or in Big 12 games or what. Can someone confirm that? ( I've been searching the internet sites but have not been successful) That seems like an incredible stat if it's true. They did say he had 30 touchdowns.
Colt did at one point in the season, but that was early in conference play. Since then, the majority of our scores have come on the ground. The seven drops against Tech didn't help, either. Regardless, it would've been an impossible stat to maintain over the course of 12 games. The fact it was true at any point this season beyond more than a game speaks to how superbly Colt and the receivers have played.
