Which All-American team do you all think is the most prestigious? Seems there are like one million different All-American teams now a days from AP, WC, SI.com, etc.

Well, the AFWA and Walter Camp teams named Colt 1st team AA, so I'm gonna go with those 2 as the best. [IMG]

Also add Si.com to the list of 1st Team AA for Colt.

I always thought the Walter Camp was the ALL-AMERICAN Award. The others just name a team and call it All-American.

Camp named the first team back in 1898.The Link

The NCAA officially recognizes 5 that make up the "Consensus" All-America Team:

    AP (Bradford)
    FWAA (Colt)
    AFCA (Harrell)
    Walter Camp (Colt)
The Sporting News (not yet named)

So Colt's got a really good shot of going into the books as THE All-America QB for 2008.

Out of the 5, McCoy was 1st team on two, 2nd team on one, and was left off two so he is a "consensus" All-American QB. However, Bradford was 1st team on two and 2nd team on two, so he is also a "consensus" All-American QB.
