i love my hardwood floor, but i have still yet to find an effective way to keep it tidy. How do you all do keep the ineveitable weekly dust and dirt at bay? I have tried the swiffer and it is OK, but i wish it was better.. Any suggestions?
We use Zep hardwood floor cleaner liquid with one of those swiffer/mop things that has the washable pad on it. It's also like 8" by 16" so cleaning goes a little faster with it than the swiffer.
What Craigcito said. Also, if you want to vacuum before using the floor cleaner, consider a Roomba. They're perfect for hard floors and will pick up sand and dirt that might otherwise scratch the floor.
