I'm glad Rowe doubled but why would anyone throw him a FB. He moves his back foot and it puts him ahead of every offspeed pitch.

Whoever is calling pitches needs some help. Maybe guys are hitting 9th because they can only hit FBs.

 

So pleased Connor didn't swing at that crap first pitch and waited for some meat.

I think I figured out the whole nonstop Leake commentary: he's the only guy these announcers know anything about. Think Herscheiser is going to get to know 20-odd guys from Texas? Nah, too much work.

 

Did anyone notice that these guys didn't mention the tendonitis until he'd given up a couple of hits? Man you'd think if it was this debilitating, they'd have mentioned it right off the bat!
