6 days starting next Wednesday. 2 Families w/ kids 3-13.
Where should we try to stay? Price is not the primary factor as much as quality, fun etc. Any suggestions for stuff to do? I'd like to so some fishing and snorkeling. One kid wants to go parasailing. We can easily split up the groups for age appropriate activities. Gracias

take older kids on a head boat fishing (lots of people on board, usually catch snapper, etc).

in key west, if you could get a full b& b for both families that would be best... otherwise as close as you can to duval the better.

key largo is a fun place. you can stay at the marriott, and they have lots to do. John Pennecamp State Park is there too. Largest coral reef in the US (My family has a house on a canal in the waters of pennecamp).

There is a "theater of the sea" in islamorada (or marathon, i forget), where you can swim with dolphins.

    For food:

Key Largo: Rib Daddys, Ziggy Mad Dogs, Craigs for FIsh Sammiches, and the various bars on the water that serve food.

    Islamorada: Pierre's

Key West: Key West Raw Bar, UPPER CRUST PIZZA (BEST EVER?)...

If I think of more I'll let you know. Feel free to email me at my username at gmail with questions.

    Regarding Key West
With that many people I would suggest renting a house. THere are many with pools and close to the action. We used to rent our house all the time. If you do that you can save on food and all sort of things. As for parasailing you can find that on the beach. There are many snorkeling places along Duval and the beach that can sign you up. For fishing you can go down to the wharf. There are two. One you can walk to downtown and one toward the middle of the Island that you would have to drive to. I would talk to locals or others once you are there as to who would be the best to charter. If you type key west rentals into Google you should find some good ones and right now is the perfect price time for renting. So don't be afraid to deal with them.

Just got back yesterday. Take the kids to feed the tarpon at Robbie's. It's just south of Islamorada (MM 77.5 Bayside). Ran into Connor Rowe's uncle at Lorelei's. He liked my Texas Columbia fishing shirt. The Keys are allsome. I can't wait to go back.
