can anyone tell us about restaurants, bars, etc in this area? Also, can we easily get the DART to Cotton Bowl from here? This is our first time up in a long time.
You're right near Union Station, which has a DART stop. Plenty to do in uptown (along McKinney) as far as bars/restaurants - from very basic to upscale. Should be plenty going on in West End on Friday night as well, which is an easy walk from the hotel.
