I thoroughly enjoyed the early kick against UCF. Got to the north end of the stadium just before 9. Cheered the team as they walked into the stadium. (Could have high-fived Colt, but didn't because I had a cold -- damned sure don't want to spread anything.) Got a Starbucks and then sat on the front row of the east side as the sun started poking through the clouds and the receivers and punters started warming up. Watching the early morning pre-game at DKR is one my favorite things to do on a gorgeous day like last Saturday. Beer? Actually waited until after the game.
Dogbert Deloss is that you? I doubt the players enjoy an 11:00 am kick off and I know the coaches don't If this had been a better opponent it would have been a 2:30 kicktho' I still don't get the RRS being at 11:00. I guess the question is, 11:00 and tv or be like aggy and no TV not even PPV.
i hate the early kick off. we'll be tailgating please stop by!!! (not sure how you'll find us but if you do we got some good food/beer...shhhhhhd don't tell the baylor admin )
Yesterday's UCF game was scheduled for Fox SW.... and will be the same for the Baylor game. However, on my DishTV channel for FOXSW HD (in this case, ch. 5416) I taped 5 hours of a test pattern. I called Dish, but the tech support person was unsure the problem, but did say Fox sports has been having problems for a couple of weeks.
Maybe I should ask for a job in the UT Athletics Department. The TV networks set the times for all the UT games these days. I'd rather the RRS kick at 2:30, but I do like the 11 o'clock games in Austin later in the season. Keep them at night early on.
