I would imagine that considering the fact he had to be carted off that at the very least he has at least one torn ligament. I hope that's not the case but it didn't look good on tv.
Considering that torn ACLs are a dime a dozen, you are probably right... but do you typically need a stretcher? I've torn a total of 4 knee ligaments (2x ACL, MCL, and PCL) now and I've always been able to walk away. Maybe they were just being overly cautious... or maybe it is something other than just a torn ligament. The strange thing is that it didn't look like any of his joints hyperextended when he landed.
