I'm a full on, 100% conservative......and I really don't understand what my peers see in Palin. I cringe every time she opens her mouth.
What I like is she speaks average american. No double talk, she could be the lady sitting next to you at the movies or in line at the grocery store. She doesn't use fancy words or speak in double talk. She is not worried about how her comments are going to be spun she just gives her opinion and you take her at her word. Is she the best candidate or the most qualified, probably not, is she going to the bank, hell ya and I bet there are more books being considered. Talk Show, it would rival Rush. More Power to her!!!!!! Don't hate her, hate the game!!!!!
You said no double talk twice. Well done. Palin strikes fear in the hearts of liberals who are concerned there are enough dumbasses to actually stick us with her in some important role. It's a little like the fear one feels when a teenager gets behind the wheel. It seems unavoidable even if you know it's a terrible idea.
Right about now we have one of those teenagers that thinks he's a good driver based on how he's done on video games but in reality he's just trying to look cool as he drives on the wrong side of the road.

texascoder is right. She's kind of an idiot and no serious threat to anybody now that McCain lost. So why does the left obsess about her like they do. It is weird and kind of creepy. I mean she is kind of hot. Maybe they are just like teenagers. They want her so they act like they hate her? They sure are nice to the ugly broads like Pelosi and Boxer.
The Lefties and their MSM friends desperately need a villian. Bush, Cheney, and Rove are retired, so Sarah is it apparently. The next popular national conservative politician will no-doubt take that mantle from Sarah as the next election gets closer. This is her time in the cross-hairs though. Good thing we don't have any real problems that might be more important than a private citizen promoting a book.
