SPOILERS AHEAD....... Is there any doubt that Russell is the best player Survivor has ever had? He's definitely become my favorite player, and so far no one deserves the million dollars more than he does. Not only that, but the dude is hilarious. Too bad he wasted the idol last week. Suddenly, with Shambo as the swing vote, it's a 5-5 game. If Foa Foa pulls off another miracle next week and goes on top, this could turn out to be one of the best seasons in recent memory.
"I ain't finished playing just yet".. Probably the best "survivor" quote ever... I detested Russel earlier, but I'm a fan of his now.. lol G
Im gonna copy what I said earlier in the other thread ----------------------------------------------------------------- Ive been watching this show for what....19 or 20 seasons now and Im still amazed at how this show just brings it. Truly the Gold standard in reality television. Another week and another great episode. Laura and Russel are badasses. Russell is growing into one of my favorite players ever. Its the Muhhamad Ali factor......you gotta respect a guy that talks that much **** and then backs it up
Russell deserves the money right now. Unfortunately, the game rarely rewards the most deserving. I'd be surprised if he can keep dodging the bullets.
BTW, I'm guessing that if there is a way for the networks to measure how often a DVR is paused and rewound the extended bikini scene with Natalie tonight would rank near the top. Good stuff.
Too bad Russell doesnt play the immunity challenges as well as he hunts for the idol. If he did he would have this game locked up.
Russell is a decent player in a season where NO one else is playing, or else doesn't seem to be. His downfall is voting based on personal desires instead of strategy. He voted out one of the least threatening players with his vote of blonde girl. Why not take out a guy to improve Foa Foa's chances (such as tall, balding pony-tailed guy who thinks he is using some strategy)? It sure doesn't seem as if FF old tribe will ever win at anything--as athletic as Jaison and Matt (?) would seem to be, they suck at challenges. He is right about getting rid of Laura though--she is a player, and a puzzle-solving machine. At that last challenge she made the other 3 look like chimps in a science research project vs. a human! I couldn't stop laughing. I don't think it is that huge of a deal that he assumed there would be another idol close by....if you watch any seasons they usually are around a bridge, or a pond. One guy even said there was probably another idol, but it didn't seem as if anyone else had the initiative to even try--much like Shambo when she got the clue. She never even looked...unbelievable.
This season is one of the best in a while. Does anybody watch the Ponderosa videos at CBS.com? That Eric is a dueche, so glad he got what he got.

Russell IS a bad ***!!! I like him. I also like Mick, but it's going to be interesting what happens in the next episode.
Hell, I would just tell him that I am on his side, don't tell me anything but who to vote off, I need no further information!!!
after he uses the idol, and he is not the strongest contestant for challenges, will the others figure out that he is the one that needs to go? probably not. He is taking candy from a baby. This is kind of fun to watch.
Anyone else think Brett is the "sleeper" of the bunch? The guy hasn't said a word on the show until the last 2 episodes when all his tribe were booted off. I don't think Russell will win for the mere fact that the jury doesn't care for him, but then again... ?!
