Love seeing this guy succeed - I've always liked the effort he brings every time I see him out there. He had some tough luck on a couple of early shots that lipped out, so it was nice to see him come on strong late.

I thought I saw him drain a three.

What a Team we have here this season. Burnt Orange sky's the limit. [IMG]

GJ was huge in the first half today. Perfect player for this team. It's about time to say goodbye to all the complaints about Gary's not being able to compete against bigger posts. He worked UNC when he was in today.

My only issue with Gary is his inconsistency. Sometimes he looks like a rebounding, jump shot machine. Sometimes he has his back to the basket 10 feet away and turns around to take an ill advised jump shot with someone in his face. There is no question he brings size, athleticism, and energy to the team when he is out there... but I hope he works on his shot selection.

GJ is a veteran player. Team 2nd in FG%. 2nd in FT%. He's one of 2 or 3 guys I want with the ball in the paint down 1 with .03 seconds to play.

Once again, really solid performance and a great job of pressure defense.

The crowd went nuts when he pulled off the hustle plays down the stretch. Dog was also key to pulling away for the win. How about 38 freakin' minutes from Damion James? W O W. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Gary was a huge reason why we were able to pull away late in the game. Another example of how so many of our players are capable of stepping up and making significant contributions on any given night.

Gary's steal and alley-oop was #4 on Sportcenter's top ten. (JCB was #2 with his base-line drive and reverse layup).

Heard Craig Way's call replayed this morning on one of the talk radio shows-when Gary F'n Johnson went off on MSU, right after the Alley Oop dunk Way blurts out "It's pandemonium in Austin!"
Gary Johnson can do amazing things with his athleticism and long arms-hope he can be more consistent and get more minutes. He's a tough match-up for other teams when he comes in off the bench.

Seems to me every time he come into the game you get something good that helps you win.

He had about as good a 40 second stretch last night as you can get.
