Pelini Meets with Saban Too?

Did I just hear that correctly on the broadcast? Now BOTH Stoops AND Pelini have met with Saban to prep for the Nat'l Champ Game?

I don't think it'll make that much of a difference, but f**k, Big XII coaches seem to be trying their hardest to help beat Texas.

f**k 'em.

 

It matters as much as Coach Boom and Applewhite having a background with Satan. I mean Saban.

MB and Saban are good coaches, they really dont need help.

Just seems odd. I have no idea, but did Mack fly to Gainesville, LA, etc. to help prep teams for OU in the past?

Not that we would necessarily need a lot of help, I'm thinking it would be good to validate some of the same things that our own coaches have figured out.

 

Pelini is done with his bowl game tonight. Mike and Mark Stoops are done tonight. Bob Stoops is done after tomorrow. Bill Snyder didn't make it to a bowl game. They are all going to be on Alabama's sideline next week with Saban. Dennis Franchione asked to come, but they told him no.

 

Is Texas not talking to the media during this period? I see media reports on Alabama's practices each day with daily quotes from players. I live in Austin and see nothing. Who knows who is running in and out of the bubble helping them out. It really seems like radio silence over there to me.

 

you guys are mistaken. bo and stoops meet with saban for saban's advice on how to beat texas next season. saban can not only beat any team with a full month to prepare, he can tell other teams how to beat a team within that same time span

 

All the ghosts of Christmas past will be on Saban's sideline: Gary Barnett, Les Miles, Llyod Carr, Pete Carroll, Mike Leach...

It's okay. Lane Kiffen tried to fly to Austin, but his plane was forced down in Southeastern Oklahoma due to windshear from OU's suckage.

And, we should all be O-vertly disappointed at how A-vertly this was done, if it was.

 

I sure hope Bo doesn't loan Suh to Saban for the MNC title game. Man that would sure suck for us!

Everybody said the same thing about PC in 2005. Maybe Pete should have called Saban.

 

If true this is the best thing that can happen. Texas is the arch emeny of the Big XII, forget any help and expect help to be provided to the opposing team.

Each team is different and with only 20 practices attempting any changes to what you have done all year, can only reslut in confusion wich equals failure.
