NFL to look into colts decision What exactly can the NFL do to stop them? A healthy team in at the start of the playoffs seems like a much bigger incentive than some extra late round pick. just look what happened to Wes Welker today. We may not like it as fans but if a team if good enough to have that luxury then they shouldnt be forced play the starters in a meaningless game, even if that decision may affect other teams.
I could be mistaken but didn't Tom Brady get dinged up in the ribs or something like that too? I don't think I heard his injury, if it happened, was bad but he got dinged up all the same. Or were the announcers on the tv in the background talking about a different Brady?
The NFL needs to stay out of this huge can of worms. How exactly would they go about enforcing any type of restrictions they put on playing starters anyway? This is ridiculous. I think it was a mistake for the Colts to sit all their key players, but it's not up to the NFL to decide who they sit and who they don't when they have earned that luxury.
I think this is a valid inquiry and am glad that they are looking into it. That said, I don't know how they would enforce any rules they might put in place as a result of their investigation.
Every team controls their destinyh. Just win baby. Lest year we botched up the Tech game and paid the price. Houston got hosed by Cincinatti last night and the Colts rested their starters. Too bad af someone had to depend on them. Draft choices never.
Yeah i bet those fans that were screaming would have been screaming at the coaches if he had played Peyton and he got knocked out for the play offs. You can bet your *** on that one.
