**** Robert, sorry to hear about your Dad.

Deal with that. I'm working on the usual stuff on my end. We can discuss in detail after christmas. I've still got the big TV we used last time, but it's a tube and really heavy and cumbersome. Hopefully somebody local with a flat screen will step up.

Also sorry to hear about your dad. Take care of that first.

2 Ram drivers are firmed up, a third is wavering, but he's probably too burnt orange to pass up the trip opportunity.

    Robert:

Sorry about your Dad. That has to be tough.

If you still need a local receiver and a San Diego receiver will work, let me know and I can bring one up. If you need anything else locally shoot me a text and I'll see what I can do.

This evening's our last chance to prep for the trip. What do you mean here Rob?

Can we not carry a 12-pack from our parking lot to H, or there won't be anything to put it in. Advise for us first-timers to the RB.

    Beat the HELL outta Alabama!

I'd advise carrying TWO 12-packs. One for you, and one to share. [IMG]

Dude, bring the twelver if that's what you can do. We'll find a place to put it.

I'm sure that we'll eventually run low on ice. One year Orangeblood and I filled a couple of trash cans from his hotel ice machine at 4 in the morning [IMG] I'm not sure he has a willing accomplice this year to facilitate such larceny.

Anyway, I don't mean to speak for Robert, but please, if you can bring a 12 pack and nothing else, the 12 pack will be welcomed.

Yes, we;ll find room and yes, ice may be problematic.

Bring what you can and what you want, all is welcome.

    How's that?

In last night and headed out now for Costco run, pick up helium, grocery store run, and scouting of RB for re-familiarization.

Yes, we will have a tailgate.Yes, there is NO entry fee. However, given the size of 2005/6 tailgate (well over 1000 before the game), everyone should have reasonable expectations.

Therefore, here are some of my current thoughts on what the HornFans tailgate will look like:

    **********UPDATED*********************

We will be in Lot H (south of the RB, see this map) as we were for 2004 and 2005. People are going to have to bring some beer.
Yes, I know the problems involved with that and here's some advice. If you think that you CAN bring some beer to donate (ie 6-12), go out NOW and buy a small softsided cooler or bag with a shoulder strap that can essentially be disposable. Just an idea.

We'll have as much beer and other drinks as we can afford to send and buy there, but more will help and we'll still probably run out. As far as food, expect to be able to get a sausage wrap.
There MAY be other things, but that will be the primary fare. Also, consider that if there ARE 1000+ people, you may have to wait a bit for a wrap as we will have no more than a small gas grill out there.

Okay, now that the food/drink part is done, here's the rest. We'll have tents and chairs and TV'S so that people can watch the game if they can't get affordable tix. The tailgate setup will be when the lots open and WE WILL BE FLYING THE BLIMP
    , weather permitting.

We'll send out on the HornFans twitter a confirmation of Lot H and about where we are once we're set up.

The Hornfans tailgate has been moved to lot 6 on the golf course. That's northwest of the stadium. See map here.
