That's what Corby Davidson just reported on The Ticket. I guess going to East Carolina seemed like a good deal, anything to get away from Bob.

    that's what I get for listening to a 't-shirt' sooner fan/tcu graduate.

    That would be terrible.

How soon could Josh Heupel take over the offense? [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

ruffin macneill supposedly in the mix at ecu as well. he's an ecu grad.

leach disciples are spreading the word in the college football ranks.

sonny dykes from all appearances is set to get the head coaching job at la. tech. that leaves bedenbaugh at ariz, anae the oc at byu, holgorsen the oc at oklahoma state, and kingsbury promoted to coaching spot at uh.

graham harrell and brandon jones even took ga type jobs at osu.

interesting. by most accounts, sumlin was next in line before he took the houston job. i would suspect this means the heuple is next up.... possibly norvell.

    i'm hoping for heuple. cerebral.

one thing though. if heuple does get the job, we will finally find out if the OC philosophy is more of stoops philosophy or if it has just simply evolved from leach, mangino, long, and wilson.

heuple was born to play the spread, and i would imagine his philosophy will reflect that. i've been happy with wilson. after chuck long, my expectations were pretty low. i would prefer he stay, but we'll be okay.

and yes, cale gundy will get passed over again. for sure.

NotReally - What is Cale Gundy's forte, recruiting? I spoke to him at an airport a couple of years ago while waiting for a rental car. Does not seem very personable though I can understand the circumstance.

Heupel is cerebral? Won't this require he be accompanied at all times by a translator?

Cale Gundy is an Oklahoma High School Legend, and of course a product of OU. He is a good recruiter, but he is going to be a guy that is happy making 200K to coach rb's at his alma... And I would tend agree that is a pretty good gig.

I don't know him now, but I have hung out with him a couple times when he was right out of OU (couple years age difference). He was pretty much a d-bag then, but I forgive him because I probably was too.
