It's not like Sanchez has been the reason the Jets are winning, he's the NFL version of McElroy. Who knows, maybe he would've been a lot better next year, maybe not, but this season doesn't prove Sanchez is a good quarterback.
just dropped a 80yrd TD pass. Although to take away some credit edwards was wiiiiiide open. Uncle Rico could have thrown that.
Actually I think he would've had more trophies from another year of college. Or are you saying he's overrated and wouldn't have won any awards? I could agree with that one.
Sanchez has played pretty well over the past several weeks. No, he's not carrying the Jets, but I don't think anyone ever expected him to put up MVP numbers in his rookie season. He was CLEARLY ready for the NFL. Anyone who argues otherwise either has a bone to pick or is arguing just for the sake of argument.
He's just a rookie and is doing fine as he progresses. In Ryan's system the qb mostly has to avoid making a lot of mistakes. He has been doing well in that regard as the year has gone by. I think he is going to be a superb pro qb; I also think that if he stayed in college USC would not have lost a game this year and would have had a good chance to be playing somebody for the MNC.
