Man, what a score. Hicks' presser was most impressive. What a great young man who speaks with level determination. He responded to the question about turning his back on Ohio probably a lot like the way he responds to a guy headed his way cradling a football - no hesitation squashing him in a flash.
For those who did not watch the entire presser, Mr. Hicks replied to a reporter who asked him about turning his back on Ohio that he was not born in Ohio. This comment resulted in prolonged cheers, laughter, and applause from what was, I presume, mostly fellow (Ohio) students. I surmise that his fellow students know how cool and polished he is, and their cheers and applause were directed to the reporter asking the question as much as it was for Mr. Hicks. I think we could be looking at the first Afro-American governor of Texas.
