I didn't like the pilot much. Seemed like a movie made due to a death in the filmmaker's family. Didn't really warrant a full length movie in my opinion. Girlfriend liked it though. Anxious to see how the show was. I'll probably watch it on DVD later.
Very little interest in this on here, which surprises me. FWIW, I thought it was very good. Could've done without some of those V Club scenes though.
It looks like Battlestar Galactica in a soap opera setting. Is that correct? That's why I haven't tuned in...
My wife loved it due to Eric Stoltz. To me they stole the premise of Neil Stevenson's book Snow Crash. I'll DVR it but it better get better soon. Did that new Stargate show get cancelled?
I watched it on DVD when it came out last year and thought it was ok. Not great, but with potential to be pretty good. I haven't gotten around to watching the broadcast of it yet -- I'm interested in seeing how they cut out the nudity from the DVD.
I thought it was pretty good. ***********mild spoiler********************* It was interesting to see that the Cylons started with the thoughts of a 16 year old girl. I am looking forward to more insight into the "terrorist group" they were following. It was also cool to see how the Adama's were involved from the beginning. They should have a very interesting backstory as well. All in all, I am looking forward to this. It won't be as good as BSG, but very few shows are...
I thought it was pretty good. Much better than I expected what with the "BSG soap opera" comparisons. Comparatively I actually thought it was better than the BSG miniseries. BSG didn't really kick into high gear until the first episode. Now that Caprica has given us the back story I'm interested to see if they can take it to the next level like BSG did.
Will I be able to understand it if I've never watched Battle Star Gallactica? It looks kind of interesting and I love Esai Morales.
