That WAS nice. What a feeling it must have been for Drew. Deep satisfaction and joy.

I still wish he would have paid a small tribute to his late mother. She was a classmate of mine at Freer ISD before they moved to Gregory-Portland.

No, the headphones were on the kid because he was filming a commercial for a financial services company.
That was a great moment, had to feel good for Drew Brees.

 

I thought she was dead.

 

My understanding is that the woman he considers to be his mother is the one who married his dad after the divorce and who raised him.
