Who will you root for?

Say, hypothetically, your favorite team loses their first game in the tourney...bracket managing is much more fun when you have a dog in the hunt. What team(s) other than your primary team are you pulling for?

Rock Chalk - I enjoy watching their sound fundementals and I like Self. Go Big 12

 

Baylor. I really love their style of play and their back court. Awesome team to watch when they aren't beating us. I think they lost to KSU at home by 2 and to KU at their Lawrence so I seriously doubt they advance in the Big 12 tourney beyond us. But I like their chances to make the sweet 16.

 

Louisville. Very inconsistent team but when they are on they look like a top 10 team.

 

You can't root for Syracuse...even if they are fun to watch. Or, you simply don't remember "Let's-go-Or-ange" at the Superdome in '03.

 

Could root for Kansas to win it all.

Aside from that, I could relax as a sports fan and root for whoever earns a win, from Game One all the way. Just be happy for kids from some program who go out and get'er done.

 

Cornell cause Andy Bernard went there.

 

Purdue. I'd like to see them get to an elite eight berth just out sympathy for Hummel.

 

I root for any Big 12 team because what's good for the conference is good for Texas. The better our conference does in the Big Dance, the more attractive it is to in coming recruits which means better players, better coaches, and better basketball for the fan base. Go Big 12.

 

Anyone but Aggie..... I simply can not root for them under any circumstance......

What an absolute beating they are laying down on Wisc. This is awesome!!

 

At this point, I'd like to see a Final Four of N.Iowa, St. Mary's, Cornell & Butler.

 

i know a lot won't agree, but i am rooting for Baylor.

 

The St. Mary's, Northern Iowa, Cornell, etc. are what make March Madness so great.

 

I am now officially a St. Mary's fan. The Irish Catholic in my blood(way, way back my great-great came from Ireland), + my dislike of Baylor = pure pleasure when the Catholics beat the hell out of the Baptists on Thursday or Friday. I will be watching every second.
