According to ESPN, it happened in 81-82.

Granted Baylor has a very good team, but this really is pathetic. We had the game won in Austin, but Baylor got a gift under the basket with 3 seconds left off of an air ball.

Baylor is a good team, not sure they are anything special. They may have trouble getting to the second weekend.

Baylor is better in every facet of the game. They are more athletic, more experienced, better coached at both ends of the floor, and just better players.

They cut to the basket, roll off picks to the hoop and then knock down the three.

If they play this well they will certainly be in the sweet 16.

Our team, on the other hand, looks lost. Barnes looks lost. His offense is stale and effectively defended by decent teams. His defense was consistently beaten and outschemed and outhustled.

It has been a shocking and disappointing 2nd half of the season.

baylor has impressed me a lot this year. they are a lock for the sweet 16 and a good draw could push them farther. they may have the best back court in the country and nobody is more athletic than them, perhaps kentucky but thats it.

Everyone "may" have trouble getting to the second weekend, but what is Baylor's weakness aside from maybe a thin bench? When Jones is playing well, which I grant isn't always, they put 5 on the court that probably match or beat any combo from any other team. With Lomers on the floor, they likely have the biggest front line in the country. With Acy on the floor instead, they still have a very big front line and now are pretty quick and athletic for their size. They block a ton of shots and are second only to KU in rebounding margin in conference.

Carter has the best to/assist ratio in the conference now Balbay is out, and we saw last night what Dunn can do. If these guys had a deeper bench, they'd probably be a 1 or 2 seed.

KU beat Baylor by 6 at home, K. state beat Baylor by 2 Their biggest loss of the year was by 7 points. They are for real and much better than Texas.
