I just set up my new XBox 360 and set up the wireless adapter. I've done the tests and everything says that it connects successfully (internet, xbox live, etc).

When I then try to go to the Marketplace and set up my account, I get all the way through the screens to the very last screen where it creates your account and it fails and says that could not connect at this time. I called MS and they said the marketplace might be having problems and to try again later. I tried again today - same problem.

Has anyone every had this problem?

A long time ago. I solved the problem by setting up my account at xboxlive.com and then signed in from my Xbox. I don't know if they let you do that anymore.

We bought a new Xbox Elite for Christmas and decided to get the wireless adapter and XBoxlive. I haven't been able to get the system to find my wireless network. I manually input the network info but it still can't get an IP address, even though all of our laptops have no issues connecting. I called my service provider and they said there's nothing wrong on our end and it must be a microsoft problem.

check your NAT settings on your wireless router. ideally setup a hardwired solution...it's far superior for streaming video from Netflix. i had my DirecTV install guy run a Cat-5 cable from my router to my living room TV where the Xbox is and being able to get a hardwired solution for the DirecTV box and Xbox is great.
