This Northern Iowa team could have beaten us by 30. That Ali Farokhmanesh guy would have hung 40 on us and our ****** 2-3 zone. I hate KU but we suck and we need to take care of our house before pointing at others.
Back when the Big 12 was being formed, the KU coach couldn't understand why Texas was getting to call any of the shots and made the quote about UT bb.

Win the Big 12 year every year and didn't they recently win a National Championship in Basketball, what have they Not done in basketball? Kansas is by far the best team in the Big 12 in basketball. The Jayhawks have won a record 10 conference titles and a record 7 conference tournament titles in the 14 years of the Big 12's existence. The program also owns the best Big 12 records in both those areas with a 188–37 record in conference play and a 28–7 record in tournament play
In retrospect, this Kansas team just did not look like a Kansas championship team. I think they had issues with their staffing/recruiting. As far as I know, they just didn't have the right guy to lead their basketball operations, such as a Ronnie Chalmers, or a truck driving assistant coach that could prepare the team for the rigors of the NCAA tournament.
I think the NCAA is wide open this year, anyone still in it can win it all. The # 1 seeds are very good but they are all beatable.
This one is pretty open but I have a strong feeling that Syracuse will take it. They don't heavily rely on a single player, they play together and their D is impressive.
I picked Kentucky before the tournament and I'm sticking with that. I feel even better about that pick after today.
syracuse is good. kentucky is scary good. i have a hard time imagining them losing. before this game, i could see kansas struggling--they've found themselves behind at the half in a lot of games and had to fight back at the end. kentucky, on the other hand....scary good.
