As much as I rag on Rick Barnes, I don't him to get fired or leave. Just get some f'n help on the offensive side of the court man!!! He is pathetic at coaching offense and it's obvious that either his assistants can't do it either or they have no input. I want Rick Barnes to finish his career here but this 1-man-dribble-while-4-stand around-and-wait offense isn't the answer.

We will not renew our tickets. No problem, though, for the
school, as there is a waiting list for our spots. My decision
is because (1) I just see us on a slide down the ladder, and
    (2) we can get primo tickets just by showing up and getting
them from guys on the street.
Rick has peaked, the team has peaked, and we need a new
    coach.

    Things that are ridiculous:

    - Bradley is not ready for the NBA. We say this every year with everyone that wants to leave, yet these guys have all had nice NBA careers. Even CJ Miles who never set foot on campus is doing just fine. The mock has Bradley in the mid first, so until he's told otherwise, he's likely gone. That's guranteed money to live a dream vs being yelled at.

    - The team will be worse next year. Says who? Why? Because Tristan Thompson and Chapman will likely contribute as much or more than Pittman has next year? Because Gary Johnson likely puts in nearly 20ppg taking James' spot? Because Hamilton and Brown likely have much more consistent years? There's no reason they can't have as good of a season or better next year. There was nothing special about this year or the lineup.

    - The freshmen were overrated. Again, this is basketball. These kids have been playing nationally for years and are known quantities. This is not football where some kids have played 3a ball all their life and we have no idea what will happen. The top kids in basketball perform. If they don't, something in the equation is wrong barring injury. Having said that, they will be fine.

    - This is the first year of bad coaching indications. Been watching the last 3 years?

    - That PG is the single key to success in the NCAAs. Seems to me that recent history says ability to make 3s and dominant low post players whether offense or defense have just as much to say. We've had neither.
