Wow. That was a strange ending. It had "No mas" written all over it.

Gotta be sickening if you're a Cavs fan.

It was strange but they were down by 7 or 8 with less than 90 seconds left and Boston hit a key shot with a little less than a minute to push it back to 10 I believe. This game wasn't going to be won by the Cavs with last second heroics. In the end, I guess, it really just didn't matter. How Lebron played in game 5 at home though does matter.

rather see that instead of timeouts and fouls for 15 minutes.

But at least when trailing teams foul and call timeouts, it shows that they care and are TRYING to still win, even though it's a longshot.

I think the Cavs got as close as 91-83 with about 1:30 left. I've seen leads like that in college evaporate.

Cavs become the first team since the Milwaukee Bucks in 72 and 73 to win 60 games in consecutive seasons and not make the NBA Finals.

They reminded me of Aggy; came out cocky but retreated after first punch to the mouth.

Not that 9 points down with 30 seconds left is a very good position to be in, but you have to at least try to sprint downcourt and get a quick 3 and if it goes in, the game's not quite over. Instead they took 10 seconds walking the ball up the court and then just went through the motions before finally jacking up a half-hearted shot.

They would have had more like 50 seconds left down 9 if anybody had bothered to do more than stand and watch Boston's shot attempt while Garnett waltzed in for the offensive rebound.

I have now decided that Lebron James will be an absolute perfect fit to play for the Knicks next year. And no, that is not a compliment.

ahhh, I still think the bigger story is the reemergence of the Boston Celtics. They have stepped up and become that team they were a couple of seasons ago. Will be a very interesting eastern conference finals series. Cleveland had the best player of those 3 teams. But both Orlando and Boston have better teams. I think the best 2 teams made it to the conf finals.

I also believe that the Celtics are the better team, but the Cavs had every chance to take this game in Boston and force a game 7. From their lack of effort at times and the dumb turnovers they had, it appeared they would rather be fishing.

And it isn't just that. They haven't been the same time as they are now all season long. They are peaking at the right time and of course that is due to their coaching. The bigger story for me is the reemergence of the Celtics and just how good they are when they are healthy and focused.

after the Cavs ended up clinching the best record in the East, LJ stopped playing. they deserve the beatings they have taken the past few games.

I remember a few years ago when the Spurs lost to Atlanta even though they had a ten point lead with a minute left in the game. Atlanta would foul them and of course the Spurs missed the free throws and then one of the Atlanta players made three striaght 3 pointers quickly and they were able to foul with the Spurs missing and Atlanta was hitting the baskets and won by three points.
