Macanudo's wife passed away

I cannot believe this.
Mac, man, I am so, so sorry.

 

search "Macanudo" and you'll see he tried to let everyone here know about his loss earlier this am.

Never met the man or his wife in real life. Got to know him over the years here. Her posts always made me laugh. What a terrible shame. My prayers are with you.

 

My wife's college friend just lost her 8-year old daughter in a horrible car accident, so you never know when your friends and loved ones will be taken from you.

Despite never personally meeting them, Macanudo's posts chronicling their family's experiences as related to his wife's medical career and the far flung places it landed them were very engaging and appreciated. I'm very sorry for your loss, Mac. God Bless you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

 

Damn! This is horrible news, I'm depressed. Met them at a few UT tailgates over the years, once or twice at Rose Bowl games. But of course read their many posts for years and feel I know them that way. Prayers for the family, and for strength for Mac, this is a tough one.

 

That is awful, awful news. My prayers go out to Macanudo and his family.

All: Go home and hug and kiss the ones you love, tell them you love them. Life is indeed a fragile thing.

I am so sorry to learn of your loss. There are no words that can ease your pain, but know that I will keep you and your girls in my prayers. And know that your wife's spirit will live on.

He was a friend on this board and I have always paid attention to his posts. His wife sounded like a great person as well.

I wish him the best. I know it will be tough taking care of the children and getting on with life. Just remember Mac, if you read this board, to be tough. You can make it through this. And if there is anything that I can do to help, let me know.
