A few that hit home to me: #3) 1992 Cowboys - being from Houston, i despised the Cowboys #7) 1993 Knicks - Living in SA at the time and being a Spurs Fan, i despised John Starks #11) 1990 MIami Hurricanes. 46-3, 202 yard penalties. Enough said #13) 1986 New York Mets. Being a huge Astros fan, I hated the Mets, Dykstra especially. #15) USC Trojans - obvious reasons.

Sorry Nuc. Gotta disagree with you? When's tha last time the Knicks won a championship? 1972? Almost 40 years. And UNLV? Once in their history, 1990, that I can remember. 20 years ago. Raiders? 1983? 27 years. White Sox? Once in 80+ years? Blazers? Once in their history, 1977. Heck, even Notre Dame has only won 1 title in 30+ years. You don't have to win a bunch of titles for people to hate/despise you.

As much as I didn't like the beatdown Miami gave us, it would foreshadow that the WIT year was fools gold as far as being back as an elite team. The team should have also put a muzzle on Stan Thomas leading up to the game.

Like YoLaDu said, it's not so much about whether you win, but HOW you win. The first team on the list, the 1986 Canes, are the most hated team of all-time on this list, and they didn't even win the national title.
are the Spurs hated, or are they disliked? I guess if you go with hated, people bring up the usual: 1) Duncan whines 2) Manu flops 3) Parker is French If you go with disliked, it is because they are boring, all substance-no style and are given begruded respect, but no one wants to watch them win again. I don't know, is there Spurs hate all over the country? They didn't even make the honorable mention part of the list. If one would argue that the Spurs deserve to be on that list, surely the Kobe led Lakers should be there. Neither made the list.
