I'd have some burnt orange in there somewhere and a poster of VY in the confetti. I really liked it when JFK had all the model sailing ships. I'm not sure, but I think Reagan had a lot of great Western paintings or maybe a Remington statue in the office. I like it when a President really makes the Oval Office their personal space. To me it signals that this is the place they work...it's not just for show. You walk into any senior executive's office at a big company, and they'll have lots of memorabilia or little trinkets from their life. Sure it's the Oval Office, and it requires a level of formality, but as a lifelong White Sox "fan," you'd think there'd be some kind of memorabilia from their World Series, or some other Chicago stuff. Edit: Reagan: Remington statue in the back right JFK: Model ships and nautical art
Contrasting styles between administrations thats for sure. Also gone are the statues, and some new paintings on the walls. Bush's office looked more upscale where as Obama's looks like a living room.
Yeah, I'd have some Longhorn stuff in there, maybe a football. I'd also have some golf stuff too. Is it just me or does the desk look a little small? I know it's a historical desk, but it just looks small.
