Wow, they jumped on this fast with the news that Colorado is officially departing after this season. We dropped Central Florida for next year (bumped em until 2017). We have added games with New Mexico and New Mexico State, along with North Texas. The roadie at Arkansas is back on, and the home-and-home with Maryland is official: 2011 9/3 Rice 9/10 BYU 9/17 at UCLA 2012 9/1 Wyoming 9/8 New Mexico 9/15 at Mississippi 2013 8/31 New Mexico State 9/7 at BYU 9/14 Mississippi 2014 8/30 North Texas 9/6 BYU 9/13 at Arkansas 2015 9/5 at Notre Dame 9/12 Rice 9/19 Cal 2016 9/3 Notre Dame 9/10 UTEP 9/17 at Cal 2017 9/2 Maryland 9/9 Central Florida 9/16 at USC 2018 9/1 at Maryland 9/8 TBA 9/15 USC The Link
only 1 florida team, and no lousiana teams. Good: i was getting sick of seeing all those minor conf. po-dunk schools year after year.
That non-conference schedule looks 100% better than last decade's. I'm really excited about it. Ole Miss will give us some SEC bragging rights, and Notre Dame and USC? Awesome. Glad to see Dodds and Mack taking the scheduling seriously. I mean, even the cupcakes have some name recognition.
I like seeing a little less Rice in the diet! All in all, even considering 2012, a much improved OOC. Kudos to Belmont
Hopefully we can get Rice in on that 2018 9/18 date. That'll make a good solid 2018 non-conference schedule.
just thinking about the fact that the kids who will play at ND in 2015 are 8th graders now...kinda makes me feel really old
Give us a break on 2012. Thats the only yr we don't have 2 name recognition ooc opponents. And we play at Ole Miss. Road game vs bcs school is better than we're used to
No doubt Belmont has really improved the OOC slate. The fact that someone immediately knocks the 2012 slate just proves Texas fans will moan about anything. As DKR used to say if he walked on water there were some Texas fans who would complain he couldnt swim.
