Tony Jones #4 - 20.2 200 meters; 10.1 100 meters; 5'5" & could dunk a basketball with either hand. Point guard on the infamous Everett Gay intramural team that stomped the Weltlich varsity in Gregory Gym. Sorry, couldn't find a photo
^^^^ That Stafford to Jones TD pass to beat arky on the last play of the game is a true classic, that unfortunately gets largely overlooked. Right after the play I remember running out on my patio, doing high fives and woo-hooing with a buddy that was watching the game with me.
HF clock now says 5 and I posted #4 today... Oh well, a 1st world problem for UT and a 3rd world problem in oklahoma!
WorsterMan, I posted a #4 because you did and I figured you knew what the hell was going on! 1st game jitters got to me. I may post "O" tomorrow to make Saturday get here quicker.
Things I have to do Thursday: 1) Sleep late 2) Go eat breakfast 3) Change sheets on bed 4) Wash & fold sheets 5) Spend 5+ hours searching for photos of Jerry Gray, Alfred Jackson, Eric Metcalf 6) Get tuneup on truck 7) Go to grandson's football game
Dang, SH, you have a lot going on tomorrow. Skip #3 & #4. Those can wait. Hope your Grandson wins! A Future Longhorn Recruit?
I get it.... We will focus on Metcalf and Gray photos... I only mentioned Simms because he came to mind who wore # 2.... NOT because he is a fav of mine.
Swoggle, I was just being a wise *** since Worster knows where Chrissy Sims fits on my list of "favorite" Longhorns
I was never happy with the way Chris was handed the starting job. I was never happy with the "family feud" over Simms vs Applewhite. But I made a vow to never denigrate a young person who wears Burnt Orange in representation of my University (unless they do something to bring shame to said University). I'm an old man now; I have no business badmouthing people who did what I could not do.
