Unless you're talking about the Southwest part of the Milkey Way, I object to the limitation.

I spent some time trying to find a 59 pic (Bert Vasut and Kyle Richardson were in the mix). On the verge of throwing in the towel I found Rick right in the middle of my picture of Tim Campbell.
Hope y’all had a happy fourth.

I've been out of town for a couple of days and just noticed the responses for #60 were a bit underwhelming. Arguably, there's probably not another number in Texas history that has a much talent as #60 does, with Nobis leading the way. So, to add to the mix:

    Jeff Leiding
    [IMG]

    Britt Hager
    [IMG]

    Robin Sendlein
    [IMG]

Derrick Johnson (before he switched to #11)

Brian Jones (he talks too much now)

Please remove the "now", and you have my total support.

When David gave him #60, I believe my letter to David was three pages.

I think this counts. The entire 1970 team, including #57 Jim Achilles on the first row of players. The internet wasn't very good back in those days. Al Gore was still tinkering with it. Not many pictures available.

I just noticed in this photo of the 1970 team, unlike the 1969 photo, most all of the O & D starters are on the first 2 rows.

Duncanville’s #56 Boone Powell chases Darren Lewis into the end zone, an all-too frequent scenario in the late 80’s but we still managed a victory over the Ags that day in 1990. Our next game, not so good.

Getting these things in so late is reminiscent of my academic endeavors at the 40.

And just like your academic endeavors, your work and efforts here are duly noted and graded.

So, young grasshopper let's get that photo up earlier in the day... #55 is on the clock in about 40 minutes.....

Hey, I am liking these 1970s all-white duds with the gray facemasks, just numbers on front, back, and on the shoulders..

His knee injury (v. North Texas?) in 2014 combined with other injuries and suspensions began a precipitous drop in our offensive line quality that we have yet to fully recover from. <Cub fan> Wait ‘til next year </Cub fan>.

I too was at that game on the north end zone 10 yd line about 40 rows from the field with a perfect view of that stop. Will be forever etched in my memory.

I'll see you 94 & 08 and trump them with 1979. OU with their million dollar backfield of Lott, Overstreet & Sims were held to five first downs (two on penalties; two on busted plays, and one the hard way). Had it not been for that last busted play, Leon's defense would have held Barry's offense to less than 100 yards total, something that never happened to a Switzer team.

    Amen.

What made that play so great to me was when I saw what they were doing, I was thinking **** what a great play and it looked like it was going to work.

Then here comes Stoney and nails that guy.

From my angle on the second deck (opposite side of the play) it looked like Stoney just demolished the runner and made him disappear, as in blow up in pieces too small to see. One moment he was going to score, and the next moment he was gone!

Good counter SH re: '79 ou game.

I bought scalped tickets on the 50 yard line about 10 rows up to impress a date from Houston that became legit ill 24 hours before the game. Sold the extra ticket and ended up sitting next to UT President Dr. Lorraine Rogers. She was very nice and personable. However this game was a business trip for me and I was laser focused on the game.

To your point Sabre, ou was LOADED and heavily favored. QB Donnie Little guided the Horns to 16 points against the stingy ou D. The Horns D lead by AA Steve McMichael and others held the muched hyped ou O to 7 points!! :hookem:
