Let the countdown begin....
La Tech should be a nice warm-up for the LSU game.
Looking forward to it! We haven't exactly been the best starting team out of the gates in recent decades, so I hope we don't overlook LT.
Always look forward to this day and this thread.
THANKFULLY, NO MARYLAND ON THE SCHEDULE THIS SEASON!!!

Is the countdown clock correct or are we playing at midnight?
Don’t recall seeing this one before.
Not me. I'm good with the annual thread, but I look forward to 100 days from now. This thread, for me, signifies the start of the dog days, and that there are 100 of them lined up just makes me
Game time was TBD on TexasSports.com so I just set it to count down to 12 AM on game day, Aug 31. I'll update it when we have a time.
Heard on the radio this morning that Sporting News announced College Football final 4:
The University of TEXAS
My heart is very optimistic about this season, but my head says tap the brakes big fella....

Well aren't you just the "glass-is-half-empty" today!
This is the time of year where everyone wants to get that one "outside-the-box" pick, and Texas is a good one for that.
I love this thread every season.
Just one humble request though, I don't remember what every player looked like when he played or what number he wore. If you could post the players name with the picture this old man would appreciate it.
A shot at early bowl predictions
Dec 28 -PlayStation Fiesta Bowl (semifinal) Clemson vs. Texas
Today is 100 days 'til kickoff. Not yesterday. Count it down on a calender.
An extra day to celebrate! We'll just carry over the 99 until tommorrow.
Am I right? I counted it down and 1 day landed on Thursday? Correct me if Please correct me if I'm wrong because I'm doing a countdown on Facebook too.
I’ll check the code. It’s hard to find reliable help.
I’m confused — I had the timer set to 12:00 AM on Aug 31 because there was no game time set. So I just changed it to 6:00 PM and it still shows 99 days. What am I doing wrong?
Put 100 on May 22 on a calender (yesterday) and start counting down and you'ii end up with 1 on Thursday August 29th. 1 day until game day is Friday August 30.
I was going off of the TexasSports.com clock on the football schedule page. But, whatever the calendar says is cool with me!
I think it's because the clock on the Texxassports.com page read "100 days, 15 hours and 43 minutes". Still actually in the 101st day.
100 days before kickoff actually began at 99 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds.
Yea, but I recall reading it early that morning whereby the “hours” remaining still put the game 100 days away....if that makes sense!
i was told there wouldn’t be any math
Except for Sponsors, right?
SO did we get the math figured out?
Asking for a friend.
