That was exciting. I got to go by the pub to watch it b/c I'm recovering from a surgical procedure and out of work for a week, and I watched it amongst a bunch of true North Londoners. I almost saw two investment bankers come to blows. One guy there was missing his first NLD in 9 years.

I've not been able to respond recently, partly cos I have not wanted to due to the crappy display of THFC, but mostly because I have been pre occupied with new family things happening.

I've never been a massive Harry fan but so far he seems to have us heading in the right direction. We will see...

It's pretty sad that beating Stoke is a big win, and not a forgone conclusion for us these days. But I like our January signings - Defoe, Palacios, Cudicini and Chimbonda and I'm not actually worried about relegation at all.

    Apparantly not!

I think we are in some weird vortex/time warp. Time and space are going in reverse....Chimbonda, Defoe, Keane...all back at the Lane. Weird.

We should've gotten more out of the NLD. Having said that, I like the team Harry's putting together. All he really needs to do this year is get safety (if we upend ManU and get back to Europe, that's gravy). I like the strategy of buying guys that have already been successful in England. I understand it's a big footballing world out there, but it seems like the top squads sprinkle in their foreign guys and don't try to overhaul with a massive foreign buy like we tried this year.

And Palacios is the freaking man. Man advantage or no, he was all over the place Sunday.

Good 4-0 *** kicking of the boro today.

Up to 13th. Great game today with some of my favorites finding the net. Lennon 2x, Keane and Pav. [IMG]

I would have liked too win the carling but at least this wa we dont have to play the Uefa cup next year.

I'm convinced it's designed to keep yu from being fit for the league.

    What shiat competition.

can we now have saturday matches?

Spurs spluttered back into life the other day. Lennon has certainly improved.

Not sure UEFA Cup (Europa League) is out of the question. The Carling Cup was won by an automatic European qualifier. The FA Cup is all but certain to be won by an auto qualifier also. Wouldn't that put 7th spot as a UEFA Cup spot? We're currently 4 points out of 7th with a home match vs 7th place West Ham looming in the horizon (also a home match vs. City, who's ahead of us on GD right now).
