Noticed Dallas Carter has moved down to 4A, as expected.

Killeen HS moved to 4A? Or were they already there?

San Marcos also dropped to 4A

My old HS (Austin Reagan) stayed in 4A

Did ALL the Waco schools move to 4A?

When I was in high school...Waco high was 5A...granted that was 10 years ago. Midway (my hs) was always a whisper from 5a, but never had the numbers on the official count days. I'm curious to see how Midway does against Waco High.

Thank you for moving the Alief schools away from Katy. Now as long as Hastings can remain the big school we don't have to worry about Katy for 2 years. [IMG]

Jmatt: Killeen HS has been 4a for awhile now, at least six years. This happened when Killeen opened up two new high schools. All the Waco schools have been 4A since the last realignment. Waco moved down to 4A with Copperas Cove in 2006, and will remain in 4A. Cove has moved back up to 5A.

txangel- Midway had no success against Waco or Cove the last two years when they were in district 16-4a together

Cove actually got an easier district by moving to 5A. 16-4A is going to be a beast with Waco, Waxahachie, and Ennis. If Cove had stayed 4A, that would have been the best district in state, IMO.

does Converse Judson need to play a regular season now? Or should they just rest their starters 10 weeks for the playoffs.

Cy-Fair ISD is now its own 5A district. Or was it already that way?

    Wow District 2 in 5A.

    2 Amarillo schools
    3 Lubbock schools
    2 Odessa
    2 Midland
    1 San Angelo

Has it always been this spread out?

Looks like my former school Hays is moving into Region 3 and Staying in 4A, District 17. Looks like it could be a fairly easy district for them in football. It's better than the district they were in with all the NB schools especially Canyon.

Glad to see Northshore out of 22-5A. Even though they're replaced with Pearland it's still nice not to have Deer Park play them in district for at least the next two years.

Longview drops to 4A...that could get ugly. That's a pretty loaded district too with both Marshall and Texas High as well.
