The USC fan who posted about their "decimated" defense is an idiot. They were decimated through graduation and people going pro...I agree. Not "injury." And they certainly didn't lose anybody that was the level of importance to their team like Colt.
While defending Floridas HS athletes, the Florida poster claimed Texas giant SLCarroll lost easily to Miami Northwestern.... obviously he didn't see the great game many saw. Evenly played and decided by a couple of turnovers (one by Tre Newton). Great Northwestern team that wasn't challenged except for that one game. SLC went on to lose in the 2nd round after Dodge was injured late. That year was the 1st yr of the new era of SLC post Todd Dodge, very good always but not quite elite.
