Wait for it, if we miss on even ONE of our targets tomorrow, the ESPN/SEC ***** machine will be declaring that Charlie "lost the recruiting war."

Well, well... First somebody who talked to some player in the Texas team posted at midnight on 247horns that there is a surprise name in store too, at . The poster simply wouldn't say who it is, but something like the highest rated commit on another team (his thread title was "OMG, if it's true", so it's clearly a big fish) Just now EJHolland, a 247horns mod, confirmed that they too have heard of a big flip possibility ("A big late night (news) nugget" is how he put it). He would not say anything more - just that he they are "tracking it down". Does not seem to be any name who is on the list already, like Fowler or Hudson. A new name. Another poster who also seems to have heard something said that it is not a done deal (may be 60/40) but that the player will sleep on it and decide whether to flip tomorrow. To be fair to 247horns, they are a subscription site. You are welcome to join there, if you want to see if EJ or any other Mod has any further updates. I doubt it, because Texas may want to keep this under wraps till it happens, and everybody would hopefully keep mum. But then again, it could be the usual BS that starts off the night before NSD every year, with nothing coming out of it! Anyway, I am off to sleep soon. Need to be up early for the big day!
Higs has been hinting at a surprise guy (not his words) for a couple of weeks without giving any inkling of who, what position, which school, committed or uncommitted. He's usually pretty reliable; but some think he may have been saying this just in case we get a surprise guy, he can do a, "See, I told you so."
