At NRG Stadium Missouri is 86th in Total Defense And 96th in defensive efficiency That's the good news, we do much better against bad defenses The bad news is that MO closed the season winning 6 in a row, while scoring a crap ton of points
Missouri's last 6 games Beat Idaho Vandals 68-21 Beat UConn Huskies 52-12 Beat Florida Gators 45-16 Beat Tennessee Volunteers 50-17 Beat Vanderbilt Commodores 45-17 Beat Arkansas Razorbacks 48-45 However, none of these teams had a winning record (but neither do we I guess - lol)
Texas holds a 17-6 all-time series lead over MO The last time they played was in 2011 before MO quit the Big 12
I wonder if anyone at Missouri remembers DeLoss Dodds saying this back in 2013 -- "Take a school like Missouri. Our bad years are better than their good years."
Color me unimpressed with Missouri's six straight wins over 2 what should be D-II schools 3 schools that just fired their coach Vanderbilt - James Franklin and his rapists have exited the building
Curious to see what the market will be like. I bought 2 on Xmas eve in 2014 for half price. I predict a buyers market....just don’t feel the energy with our fan base. Plus, I think it’s safe to predict we will lay another egg. I’m waiting on the final list of defections from the players. Belmont ticket office can’t possibly feel good about selling this to the fans!
Ever since the advent of the College Football Playoffs, it is difficult for most fans to get excited about many of the bowl games--with the exception of the New Year's Day Six. Especially when certain key players will not be playing. Feels almost like an exhibition game.
I am really excited for the seniors who get to experience the bowl game. Period and goodnight. This is a litmus test- negatives please sign in and I’ll thank you to sit at the back of the bus that folks will be clamoring to board soon. I have faith... fearing fear itself. Big time boosters and fans who have no patience are the biggest threat to this team. More Than an inexperienced OL and more than a 18 year old FR QB that shows more maturity than folks I’ve read here. Again, congrats to the players, coaches and staff as I saw heart and progress this year. Aug 2018 can’t come soon enough.
I don't like calling it a "title" when you win a division of a conference. Some conferences don't have divisions. I don't like it one bit.
I laughed. Wouldn't their record since leaving ther Big XII be more indicative that the SEC isn't as good as everyone thinks? They couldn't muster a .500 record in the Big XII but can in the SEC, so that equates to them being better since going to the SEC?!?
