Kinda the same situation as last year with Lane Kiffin, IIRC.

How much money is Drayton promising the Colts to take him off their hands?

A one time NFL o-line coach who is sub .500 as a college coach is a candidate for an NFL job? Alrighty then! :confused2: :idk:

The Colts are interviewing everyone. They also interviewed Seahawks DC Richard whom Pete Carrol openly said needs a "change of scenery".

Wow! That's pretty tough language to hear from your boss.

I read it as a quote so I'm sure Pete Carrol put a positive spin on it like "he needs a change of scenery for his own growth."

Rumors are that the mother of AZ's stud-QB is on record that the kid will transfer if Niumatalolo is hired. Niumatalolo's offense at Navy was run, run, run. The kid is a thrower not a runner.

Didn’t Tate take over the qb spot anyway? He is dual threat had a decent year

Tate is the one who is upset (at least accordingly to his mother).

Did Navy run the triple option? I don't remember one pass in the games I saw (2 games?)

That’s just weird then unless he thinks he can turn into a pocket passer

Niumatalolo (Hawaiian names are the worst) has done a heck of a job at Navy. They've been able to compete with just about everybody they've played, including ND. But, so far his predecessor, Paul Johnson, hasn't been able to achieve similar success at Ga. Tech.

I like him too. I have an in-law who went to Annapolis, he often watches UT games with me and I often watch Navy games with him. Navy games are cool

    Anyways, ....

The guy must love it in Annapolis, because Gladchuk is such a lying sack of ****, he would make you long for Stevie Patterson.

They're saying Noel Mazzone will follow Sumlin to Arizona. So, much for our deal with Mazzone.

I can't blame the guy. He will get a lot more money to follow Sumlin.

I wonder if Freeze was using the escorts for himself or for the recruiting targets or both.

We paid Strong millions not to coach UT last year. South Florida paid him peanuts compared to what we paid him.

aggy landed a new DL coach to replace the one who got a single good look at Collie Station and ran away screaming (aka "How to Make Green Bay, Wisconsin Look Superior")
There was some talk they were going to pull a rainmaker from the NFL
Had to settle for a guy from Baylor

As much fun as it is to make fun of all their slipups during this transition, I concede it looks like they are going to be a force in recruiting in the next class. How big of a force is a story yet to be told

I fear Peveto (should be Peveteaux) more than Robinson. His father is in the Texas JS Coaches Hall of Fame. His two brothers are HS coaches in Texas. The guy can recruit and he can coach.

FWIW, his cousin is the best athlete to ever play at Rice. Sad story.

Former Dallas Skyline WR Ra'Shaad Samples is now an offensive grad assistant at UT. His father is the head coach at Duncanville.
