I sure wish we could get this one and Cook. Two great additions to an already great class. :hookem:

Kansas game for Texas; aggy game for LSU. Who do you root for in the 25th - LSU rolling aggy or aggy beating LSU which causes Marshall to commit to Texas?

Great speed might be an understatement. This kid can fly.

He can really lay the wood too.

He's a blazer. But if you want to see vicious hits, watch Adeoye's highlights.

I was hoping White would get an offer. If it had been given out a couple of months ago, I think he would have verballed to us instead of A&M.

I don't think it would matter.

I'd bet a recruit attending an aggy game decides right then and there regardless of the game. He'll either take a liking to a General Dog being escorted by a bunch of gomers, milkmen yell leaders, humping it, etc., or be turned off by the whole delusional atmosphere.

Wonder if Jalen is related to former Longhorn RB (now at UH) Duke Catalon?

A little further information. Recruits are only allowed to be hosted at home games. At games on neutral fields same rule applies - only the home team can host a recruit.

Herman sold Jamison family on Texas

"Texas has the No. 2 recruiting class in the nation, and it got even stronger this weekend with the commitment of four-star Houston Lamar cornerback D’shawn Jamison.

The Longhorns’ high ranking is a true testament to Tom Herman and his staff. They have gone above and beyond this recruiting cycle with innovative visits, relationship building and selling the future of the Texas program.

TCU was considered the early favorite for Jamison, but Herman and Texas won him over in the late spring and sealed the deal when they got his parents on board.

“It was an amazing process,” Mrs. Jamison said. “But it came down to what he wanted and the relationships he had with the coaches. That meant a lot to us as parents because those coaches are going to take care of him. UT was the best choice for him because of the academics and the coaching staff. They made us feel like family.” .......

Texas also recruited Jamison’s girlfriend, JoNae Malbrough, an aspiring sports reporter, and hosted her for a visit along with Jamison and his family right before the dead period.

“Coach Herman made me feel right at home,” Malbrough said. “Right when I walked in the door, I had a standing ovation. Coach Herman is really big on education, which is great. I would love to go to UT because they are No. 1 for mine and DJ’s major.”...."
