Very disturbing if true. While my inclination is to blame the messengers (the players), they may simply be a symptom of a bigger problem.
C Strong's or T Herman's recruits or is it a mixed bag of discontents boys with big ego's or sour attitudes and selfishness???......someone mentioned that the Duvernay's were a part of this. Is it irony that Devin's playing time was reduced significantly during the season. It will clear up be first of next semester.....boot the poor attitudes off unless they can adjust to team concept. There will always be some misfits on each every team and every barrel.
One of the other JUCO OTs we have been talking to, Jahmir Johnson will OV to Austin Dec 15 I think this means we will have all 3 remaining JUCO OLs we are focused on in Austin on the same weekend Jahmir Johnson (6'6 290) of Arizona Western (orig from Philadelphia) Trevor Elbert (6'5, 320) of Ventura College (orig from Texas) Mike Grandy (6'5,305) of College of San Mateo (said he saw himself settling in Texas later in life) If we can land 2 of 3 (or all 3?) along with high schooler Junior Angilau of Utah combined with our existing OL commits (Reese Moore and Rafiti Ghirmai) and we will at least have a fighting chance
We are supposed to have a surprise visitor this weekend -- "a high profile recruit committed to another program." But its a secret for now, so dont tell anyone.
Also on the 15th, besides the 3 JUCOs, we we also host verbals DeMarvion Overshown, Cameron Kicker, and Brennan Eagles.
The pay sites have a conflict on whether Gainer is still coming on a visit or not. Some say yes while some say no. We will know soon enough. This might be the secret visitor mentioned above, but not sure

On my way to spend the day at the Alamo Dome. Caden Sterns plays in the second of three playoff games there today.
btw, Angleton's BJ Foster had an excellent game Friday night at NRG Stadium against Foster High School: 126 yards and 3 TDs. Also named Overall Player of the Game.
#2- Byron Vaughns, #3- Jalen Green, #5-D'shawn Jamison, #74- Rafiti Ghirmai #20-Ayodele Adeoye, #4- Al'vonte Woodard
I thought #20 was a retired number. Some guy in the 70's wore it ... name escapes me. Maybe it was the # he wore in HS or it was a only a promotional photo.
