""Don't lock me out just because I'm not a homeboy," she said. "You ought to be thankful that I care enough and I'm interested enough and passionate enough to want to make things better. I'm certainly permitted to do what I have done.""

    Translation:
"You ought to be thankful that I can see how badly you've screwed things up and am willing to come up there and fix it all without ever having talked to you, met you, or tried to understand your issues."

It's actually very consistent with the Left's mindset about non-elites.

I want to think that's a parody, but it might not be, and if it's not, it's hands-down the stupidest, most self-defeating strategy I've ever heard.

Please, millennial idiot men... please follow your conscience, and stay home on election day. You can go straight to the coffee shop or microbrewery and brag to every woman there that you "had their back" on election day, and you won't have to pay for a drink all night, and will almost surely get lucky. Because they will Respect And Admire you for your Non-Manly Character.

The rest of us will vote like we normally do and we'll see how the numbers shake out.

It’s already been scientifically proven that liberal women prefer MAGA men in bed.

I don't think that's true. Women often claim to want guys who are "sensitive," "nice," and generally passive weanies. In real life, I have seen very little evidence of that being true, regardless of the politics or culture of the women involved. Even most liberal women I've known have gone for masculine men. Most passive dudes I've known were dateless losers - even if they were good looking and had money.

I'll say it since the OP would rather you wonder. It's a parody likely created by a rightwing source for the explicit purpose of pointing out how much better they are than others, the charge levied against the left.

    Oops
ps - I still hate the guy who wrote the book that picked these colors - Texas as a "red state" is offensive. I may issue a fatwah on him when I get a little older

The Dems are going to regret a lot of the political moves they have made in the past couple years. The open borders and sanctuary city agenda may play well in San Francisco but they need to focus on winning the Rust Belt back if they want to defeat Trump in 2020.

That's gonna be tough, since the Party seems to want to become the Democratic Socialist Party - that won't play well in Peoria (or any other place besides the left coast and Massachusetts).

Speaking of the "homeless," I'm in DC right now for a few days. (Mrs. Deez is at a conference, so I'm taking Deez, Jr. to see some of the key sites during the day.) We were walking near GWU today, and there was a full tent assembled on the sidewalk. And GWU isn't in the ghetto. It's a pretty nice area. Of course, as a 4-year-old, Deez, Jr. doesn't know to just keep quiet.

Deez, Jr. (Loudly) - "Daddy, why is that man sleeping in a tent on the sidewalk? Don't people usually go camping in the forest or the mountains?"

Me - "Yes, son. We'll talk about it later."

All Venezuela has to do is quit "printing" money! But yet they "print" more to solve the problem that "printing" started.

The funny thing is they had no problem with Maher or Corbett making fun of conservatives using similar tactics.

Conan OBrien used to do Bill Clinton in a Clutch Cargo cartoon style, with his pic up but only his lips moving. Liberals did not object at that time either. Maybe they were simply overcome at the thought of Bill's big lips?

Liberals not smart enough to understand joke -- need it explained to them.
She does refuse to give in to them, which is not always easy to do in this environment. Good for her. We need more like her

The Kansas City Star has looked into businesses tied to Claire McCaskill’s husband and found that they have been awarded more than $131 million in federal subsidies since she took office back in 2007 (a story similar to Senator Diane Feinstein and husband).

I have to admit I am a little jealous Missouri has a newspaper willing to look into and print this. My local paper, the Houston Chronicle, would no way no how ever do something like this if it involved a Democrat.

RCP shows that Rs have a slight edge in the House races, with 34 "toss ups." However, the very latest polling (which is ahead of the RCP avg) shows seven or eight of those "tied" races are already strongly leaning R.

Translated, the Ds will have to win almost every single remaining "tied" race to have a shot at taking the House.

Along these lines, the latest NPR/Marist/PBS poll oversamples Democrats, D+11 but nonetheless shows approval with pure Independents is Trump 40%-38%
And Trumps Latino support is up to 30%
    --------------

There is also a new poll out by Hill.TV and HarrisX that puts Trump's approval rating at 48%

" .... Despite recent events on immigration and Russia, Trump’s approval is sustained by strong economic optimism and his positions on a series of core issues," Nesho said.

The American Barometer poll found Trump enjoyed the approval of 87 percent of Republicans and 44 percent of independents, but only 17 percent of Democrats approved of his performance.

The president also had a majority of approval from men (52 percent), whites (57 percent), adults aged 35 to 49 (54 percent), rural Americans (56 percent), and Southerners (52 percent), the poll showed...."

Not bad in light of this --
