Gotta admit, he makes a good point. If you have to invite a guy who called your dad a murderer and called your wife an ugly crazy person, it does look desperate. I honestly don't think it's that smart of a move by Cruz.

And nicknamed him as “Lyin Ted”. A bit of a desperate move by Cruz.

It still baffles me that such a stupd-*** nickname actually stuck. I wasn't a Cruz supporter, but he was much more honest and honorable than Trump was.

It spoke more about Trump supporters than anyone else, IMHO.

I disagree vehemently with Cruz' policy viewpoints but never felt that he lacked integrity. Trump's projection during the campaign reached absurd levels. It still does.

And that's the problem. He had to back down from insulting Carly Fiorina's looks, so I assume that bothered some people. But other than that, his **** worked. People liked the 6th grade bully talk from a supposed adult.

SH may have possibly made one legitimate point finally; If anyone knows about projection, it is the mindless liberal.

I agree with Cruz' previous free trade views. That's about it. Climate change is real, homosexuality is not a "choice" in most cases, and I disagree with most of his foreign policy positions, particularly Israel.

Can you show me where he backs a policy that says "climate change is not real"?

On homosexuality, he has supported applying the 10th amendment to allow states to decide on gay marriage. He has taken a number of stances opposing Federal imposition of gay marriage rights. I can't find anything to show he thinks the innate quality of gayness is a choice. Please enlighten me.

He supported recognition of Jerusalem as the Israeli capital. He is supportive of Israel in general. I take it you are not.

Here is an article which outlines statements he made during his campaign for POTUS.

Courtesy of the San Antonio Express.
Cruz: “I believe that engaging in homosexual conduct is a choice, and I do not believe that unelected judges should force States to adopt gay marriage, against the wishes of the people. Marriage is a fundamental building block of our society, and I have a proven record of standing and fighting to protect traditional marriage between one man and one woman.”

Yeah, I don't agree that the Jerusalem recognition is in the best interest of Israel or ME peace.

I hope you realize you just shot down your earlier asserting on what Cruz said.
    Too funny
Btw read your sentence you bolded.
Engaging in heterosexual conduct is also a choice. Right?
Like Obama Clinton and other Dems TNTM Cruz believes in the traditional definition of marriage.

He doesn't support the notion of anthropogenic climate change. Nor does he support the notion that the answer to whatever climate change may be happening should involve government control of the energy sector. That is very different than saying "climate change is not real".

Engaging in ANY sexual conduct is a choice. Engaging in complete celibacy is a choice. That says nothing about the innate quality of homosexuality being a choice.

Nike is doing this as a business decision, but no doubt using terms like "sacrificing everything" sounds remarkably stupid when put in context.

I wish I could boycott Nike but I haven't bought their overpriced shoes since college. They have been riding Jordan's nutsack for decades. Bad product with slick marketing. New Balance makes much better shoes IMO.

I have not bought Nike shoes since the 80s as they just did not hold up well for me. I buy Reebok, they last WAY longer than Nike.

They really have have. What other big national companies are still riding the nutsacks of players who haven't been dominant in 20 years?

A huge defeat in Massachusetts. Link. This is a little like the Ocasio-Cortez/Crowley race with a couple of differences. First, Crowley had a history of moderation. Capuano has been a mindlessly dutiful and militant liberal for 20 years. As Pressley said, "a reliable vote is not good enough.”

Second, Pressley didn't run as a democratic socialist. She basically ran on an intersectional perspective and worldview that comes with being a younger black woman. In other words she ran on actual racism and sexism, but of course, it won't be called that.

I can actually understand the White Obama references to Beto now. He's young, hip, says the politically correct things in the right way, and has zero actual substance. He is just missing his vacuous "Yes we can" slogan.

Seems to escape her that the cost of health care and college are growing faster than the rate of inflation because the government is distorting the market.

Cell phones, TVs, and cars are always becoming more affordable because the govt is not in there. Free market

He IS correct that ENGAGING in the conduct IS a choice. That is NOT the same as claiming that being gay or lesbian is a choice. There are plenty of gay and lesbian people who are not presently in any manner of sexual relationship.
