The national 247 folks are saying that the West Team at the All-American Bowl Game has been forced to change their run game scheme because they cannot get a play off against De'Gabriel Floyd during practices.

I read there might have been some 'issues'
They say the mom is adamant he get his degree, but 'the other parent' sees other things.
Supposedly he got a 5th round grade (which seems surprising)

Great info. Would love to have him, but if LJH is coming back, this doesn’t hurt as much.

 

It's been said many times, "If momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy." If his grade is truly 5th round, many 5th rounders don't survive the final cuts and end up practice squad players at best. That would seem to make momma's case even stronger.

 

Anyone have intel on this. Sounds like maybe LJH staying

It's going to be interesting to see what they do with all the receiving talent next season. It's a great incoming WR class, plus CJ returns, maybe LJH, plus guys like Moore, Eagles, Woodward and Epps. On top of that, I think Herman still believes in using the double-TE offense, he just has not had the right type of players. He should have that in 2019. So what then?

 

There are some other rumors too, not all good

 

Watching these all star games, not going to name names, but missing on a few of the guys we really wanted may end up not being such a bad thing.
I hope they end up being close to as good as they think they are.

So unfortunately Spencer Rattler looks pretty good. They list him as "pro-style" but he scrambles very well. Just the kind of QB who gives us trouble.
They were saying Riley was on him very early. Dude knows QB talent. Needs to go to NFL already, IMO

 

So far looks like the top player on the field.

Could this get anymore ridiculous? I do feel for the kid. Some people have a hard time making decisions, particularly about something that significantly impacts their life (probably depends on the type of decision too). In whatever direction he chooses, I will still be enjoying my late breakfast in hawaii.

 

The last one who announced and picked Florida (among 5 or 6 teams) said he was going to "the REAL DBU"---I looked and thought "uh, no bro, there ain't no University of Texas caps for you to choose from..."

 

We could also claim Kicker U with both Tucker and Dickson as 1st team All Pro (but saying "We are KU" does seem weak)
