Kid is impressive. Powerful legs, quick to the hole, fast, good vision. Oh, and he can tackle good, too.
247 is reporting that Javonne Sheppard has been dismissed from his high school team. I have a bad feeling about this ... Javonne Sheppard dismissed from team........
Don't know the kid or the situation, but I do remember Fred Akers giving a kid a chance after he was kicked off his HS team. That one worked out pretty damn well, but is probably a huge exception.
We gave a pass to that Reese Lateao a couple years ago, and that was for selling drugs. I'm not feeling too high and mighty right now. I will wait and see what the issue is before I make a judgement. I'm pretty sure Jimbo has a place for him even if he killed someone.
Sabre, i am not a subscriber so I could only post the title. Other sites have comments mentioning that it was for “behavioral issues” That is very vague and like AB said, let’s see what other details trickle out
I don't mean to be negative, but if he is only 180 pounds, he doesn't look as fast or shifty as a back that size would need to be. Maybe he has deceptive speed, because his running style is a smooth legato instead of staccato, if you get my point, but among the hundreds of amazing RB highlight reels we look through, with all of them having TD after TD, I wouldn't necessarily remember this one. He has very nice balance and strength, and just enough speed on each play to make it work. Now I am googling it, and his 40 time is listed as 4.62. I know he must be a player, but does that concern you?
This latest shhh was post-Brown. So it seems like we have 2 silents (one LB + one either WR or S) and now one more.
from the bad news for OU is good news department, 5* Safety from Tulsa (best player in the state of Oklahoma for 2019) just committed to Michigan ... 5-Star Safety Prospect Daxton Hill Commits to Michigan over Alabama, More
Imagine if next class has more players like Sterns, Moore, Foster, Cook, Dicker, Ingram, Overshown (not injured), Eagles, etc.
Not sure about average but that would move us from 10th to 4th in 247 composite rankings with only 18 recruits.
