I already knew Biden was an idiot. Now I know he is a blithering idiot.

Or maybe he was busy with hands or something.

Kamala Harris has a new freebie. 100 billion to blacks only for housing! For someone so passionate about segregation and discrimination, she is openly touting it.

Keep on keeping on Democrats! We need the house back as well.

What about Indian Americans? For someone who cares about diversity she sure does ignore her Indian half.

Beto is in Nashville today and gave a speech in front of what looked like at least 200 people. However he is having a town hall which is not open to the public. How is a town hall not open to the town hall?

I’ll wait for Longest and SH to explain.:idk:

Hence the creation of BLEXIT. Some people are tired of destroying their future by selling their votes to libs for a few bucks.

When Philando Castille was murdered, Me’Lea Connelly asked herself what other forms of resistance might our communities invest in that doesn’t involve putting our physical bodies and mental health on the line. She called for a meeting of community members to brainstorm, what that looked like. In those meetings, the activist group Blexit founded by Me’Lea aimed to cultivate the practice of civil economic resistance. Over the course of several community meetings, Blexit members prioritized a campaign focusing on Black banking which led to conducting invest/divest banking actions.

Even Obama's Homeland Security Secretary is getting mugged by reality. He has said the 2020 Democratic candidates are terribly wrong on border security (or the lack thereof), and he is using the term "open borders." Link.

Remember, however, that the left (and to a lesser extent, the right) banks on an electorate that does not pay attention to actual issues. They know that too many at the polls will ONLY look at a letter behind the name, if they even do THAT.

Straight-ticket voting should be done away with to at least force voters to go through an entire ballot. It won't stop the letter-voters entirely, but it would require them to learn how a machine functions and I would all but guarantee that better than 60% of the straight-ticket voters would screw it up if they had to scroll through the pages on the electric machines.

I'd get rid of straight ticket voting and multiple choice voting. You vote for the candidates you can name.

FYI - straight ticket voting is going away. Link.

I’m sure liberals will deem this voter suppression.

Yes. Many have the brains to determine that the promises are totally empty. When the dems had Obama and big majorities in the house and senate, did they send any money to blacks?

Jeh Johnson seems to have a nasty streak of something like integrity. That won't be allowed to stand in today's dim-o-crat party.

I will be voting for Biden in the primary. Biden as the Dem candidate ensures a Trump victory as there will be low turnout from the socialist left.

I actually think this is awesome. I think the black community should take more responsibility for lifting each other up and providing their own financial path. So far, their strategy has only consisted of badgering existing institutions for special programs. I think they will find that making money strictly off this population is much harder than they anticipate. While there was certainly historical bias and even racism in the financial industry, the last 30 years has been filled with programs designed to bend over backwards to accommodate those communities, and institutions still can't find a way to appease all the community organizers and simultaneously make money. I would like to see Kapernick, Oprah, Jada, and all the other folks who've made it their mission to highlight racial inequality, finally open up their wallets and fund a financial institution like this. Time to put YOUR money where your mouth is.

Biden's new promise is to empty the Federal Prisons by half. First he said he would reduce the number of people in Federal Prison, but wouldn't commit to a percentage. Then, in an interview with an ACLU supporter, he said that he thought he could reduce it by 1/3 to 1/2! That's putting a lot of ex-cons back in the population (so they can vote Democratic?).

This is particularly ironic given the hissy fit the Dems are having right now because Acosta didn't nail Epstein for a longer prison sentence.

I often use primaries to cast ballots for candidates in the opposing party that at least have some manner of qualifications...especially critical for judicial races since partisan ballots in Texas have given us so many ****** judges through the years.

Of course, as a voter registered in Travis County, there was also often a dearth of candidates in so many of the races on a Republican primary ballot to begin with, so voting in the libby primary at least gave me some people to vote for (against) LOL!

Kamala Harris had some serious plastic surgery to make herself look less Indian.

Now I get why Progressives want whites to hate themselves, because Progressives already do.

Yeah, Kamala. How about no more discrimination against Indians applying for medical school. Currently, they're subjected to massive "reverse" discrimination on that very front.

I want the smartest, best qualified doctors coming through our medical schools, and I don't care if their parents came from Mumbai, Kolkata, etc.

I'm not talking about a give-away, just straight up fair treatment.

Not alone in that regard...too many of the Dems will pander and have precisely zero qualms about appropriation of identities in doing so.

UTs announcement had nothing to do with race. It may affect students of certain races more, but its strictly financial.

That is why I said "kind of". The point being this is the type of thing that should be done to help the less well off. There are universities doing similar things by starting off with rich alumni to fund accounts like this.

Personally, I think if the school covers your tuition and fees you should be required to make some kind of payments after graduation to help keep the fund going.
