During the primaries, there were many instances in several states that reported reduced polling locations in minority communities and resulted in multi hour waits to vote.
If you read the reports of the Stacey Abrahms claims against SofS Kemp in their 2018 Gov election where voters were removed from the rolls without adequate notice resulted in Abrahms loss in GA but her activities to increase voter registration resulted in GA electing Biden in 2020 and two Dems Senators in the Jan runoff election. Abrahms will be running for Gov in two years and Kemp had better be prepared or choose a Senate race in 2022.

The Houston lines were long and wait time a negative as I recall.

There are many examples of long voting lines in an election which if you are standing in it, who watch people leave and go home as the delay is too long for them. Shorter lines and more voting locations are an obvious solution if your goal is to increase voter turnout.

Texas has had Early Voting for decades and the voting process is the same. Same voter registration, voter rolls, Voter ID and voting machine process vs Election Day Voting. Many counties have a larger turnout in Early Voting than Election Day Voting. a win/win of having both systems available for the voter to choose.

Is increased turnout (higher % of registered voters participation) preferrable to decreased turnout in an election?

Why is Early Voting more subject to fraud than Election Day voting as you state?

Im fine with extending early voting but I am completely against Mail in voting unless you have a very good reason (ex: military assignment, etc.).

Secretary of State runs the elections in KY

Inaugurated as Secretary of State on January 6, 2020, Michael first pushed his highest legislative priority, Kentucky's first Photo ID to Vote law, through the General Assembly, then pivoted to saving the primary and general elections from the problems that befell other states during the COVID-19 pandemic. His work in making it easy to vote and hard to cheat, and taking Kentucky from the back of the pack to a national leader in election administration in mere months, has earned praise throughout America and across party lines. Adams intends to introduce additional legislation to improve Kentucky's elections, and to continue his administrative efforts to clean up Kentucky's voter rolls.

Beshear expanded voting and board of Elections responded by reducing number of voting locations

On Tuesday, Kentucky will hold the a state-wide primary election that was delayed from its original date in May because of the pandemic. But voters seeking to cast ballots will need to look harder for a place to vote, as the state slashed the number of polling locations from 3,700 in a normal election year to less than 200 for this week’s primary election. The move particularly impacts Black voters, as Jefferson County, the county with the state’s largest Black population, will have only one polling station.

The decision, outlined by Kentucky state election officials, comes after an executive order from Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear that expanded mail-in and absentee ballot access, as well as introduced guidelines intended to reduce the risks of coronavirus transmission among voters and poll workers. Following the order, the state’s Board of Elections officials directed counties to propose plans that would reduce the number of polling stations across the state. While counties did select larger-capacity locations for the fewer number of polling stations, the consequences are nonetheless revealing.

holding elections at all enables the chances of fraud so why not just get rid of them entirely? (that is what is known as reductio ad absurdum and is not to be taken as a serious suggestion)

As for where, it happened here in Corpus and was reported to have happened in a lot of places. Our idiot County Clerk shut down a bunch of polling places as a cost saving measure but none of them were in the sections where people like me live and all were in areas that were heavily democratic. Coincidence? Not likely.

Conservatives have been doing things to tamp the vote down for a long time for the entirely logical reason that areas where there are a lot of less motivated voters are more likely to vote liberal. Everybody with a brain knows that and that is why liberals want to do everything they can to make voting easier so more lightly motivated, less informed people will vote----democratic.

Work in the trenches on a few campaigns and this will be so obvious it will not need to be pointed out.

Two months ago he got over 70 million votes for a second term. This week he gets impeached amidst passionate pleas to unite as a nation. Some kind of unity. I say leave the mentally ill man alone as a gesture of Christian mercy. Remember Christian mercy? How about ravenous dogs? Lots of those around.

I really like the gesture of putting on The impeachment committee the Cal Dem who was banging the Chicom spy. Now there is a guy with great judgment

Isn’t this like when the white nationalists and boogaloo boys were instigating crap during the BLM protests? Like the dude in Nashville arrested for burning the courthouse. He had a 3 percenter tattoo.

Don't recall that. Yo have links? Still going with white nationalists did that but it would be absurd to think BLM/Antifa led the Capitol shenanigans?

I’m not saying antifa/BLM weren’t involved. I’m saying the vast majority of these people were bubba’s (no relation) from all over.

Delaware was a southern state that had slaves. Remember DC is considered the south (near G Washington’s plantation). Delaware didn’t secede. Also note there were many confederate sympathizers in NYC. Twitter guy is fûcking stupid.
