aggy looked up and noticed so many OOS guys. And more to come. One of the them finally asked, "Why do we have to go OOS to fill positions of need?" Just asking that one simple question alone shakes the entire foundation of their narrative

As an alum of Temple, I hope he commits. Imagine in two years a trick play with Riley out of the TE position throwing a TD pass to Johnston. Hell, he was the QB his senior year throwing to him his junior year.

Wiltfong mentioned that Johnston cleared 7 feet in the high jump in practice.
He also said Johnston made it clear he was not leaving the state for college, which is why his offer list isnt like a lot of the other top guys. The big OOS programs just never chased him.

When it comes to good news, it seems most of the aggsy tend to live in absolutes. They thought moving to the SEC all of a sudden Texas would turn into U of Houston. They see Jimbo have a new coach bump and figure it was always going to be like that moving forward. Then they are baffled when it doesn't work out for them.

Never ask aggy to think logically about anything sports related.

There is no in between with aggys. It’s always all or nothing. Also, the going “out of state” violates their perception, or mass hallucination of #WRTS. but we all know that merely stands for “We Ruin This State”.

We've had a couple of spectacular leapers before. Johnny(?) "Sky" Walker was an early 80s RB who reportedly could clear 6'10" in football pads. He was good in goal line situations leaping over the pile. And of course, James Lott from Refugio, who high jumped 7' 4 3/4" in high school, a national record at the time.

You have to think that Collin and Lil'Jordan's success here has turned his head our way.

    From Inside Texas Q&A

Q: You were all over Jalen Green's potential, and now it's looking like he is going to be CB1. Who's that guy in 2020 and 2021 classes?

Justin Wells: <takes a bow even though it was obvious> Ethan Pouncey (2020) and Ishmael Ibraheem (2021)
Eric Nahlin: In 2021... it's Latrell McCutchin for now but we'll see how it ends up.

McCuthchin was Alabama's first 2021 commit. He is from Austin LBJ. I hate that Satan can dance in and do that. But the good news is we have Pouncey in and are supposed to be in good shape with II.

Q: ... who is that four star that is going to be a five-star producer (hopefully).

EN: In 2021 Brockermeyer already made the jump. No foolin', it might be Milroe. Watched him throw on Saturday. He's going to wreck shop on the field this year then do well in camp settings. If he becomes more consistently accurate he might be a five-star.

I saw he had risen to #2 or #3 behind Evans and Milton, so this must be more recent.

I thought he was the best fit and most talented. But I am certainly no football authority of any kind.

They have to notice it. No way around it, no matter how much of Price's maroon brisket you ate
