Sessions and Tuberville will be in a runoff

While I agree with Trump here about "the Mueller scam," the problem with this position is that Sessions is much better on immigration/border security. It's not even close. Tuberville has staffed his campaign with members of Mark Zuckerberg's "Open Borders" group. He opposes deportations and would be in favor of amnesty after elected.

It sounds like Graham did beat down Putnam. She was one of the people who abandoned Trump near the election, after the release of the tapes. But she has since reversed course and become a Trump supporter. And Trump obviously overcame it.

This is my argument about how Trump needs to forgive Sessions too and move on. As unjust and improper as Russiagate was, Sessions will be better for the country in the Senate than Tuberville, which should be the test.

It also sounds like Henry Cuellar (TX-28) held off his anti-fracking, AOC-light challenger. Both Bernie and AOC campaigned heavily for Jessica Cisneros. I believe that all the Bernie/AOC endorsed candidates lost, raising at least some hope for the continuation of the Republic.

In the Hurd seat (TX-23), Tony Gonzales will be in a runoff. He was endorsed by Hurd who barely beat Gina Ortiz Jones last time (less than 1000 votes). Jones is seeking to be the "first lesbian of color" in the Texas delegation.

    this was sent to me

I was thinking; If Democrats don't want foreigners involved in our elections, why do they think it's all right for illegals to vote?

Glad I don't live in Alabama, for a number of reasons.

Fake news. The high income tax rates were offset by tax credits and deductions not available today.

The wealthy pay as great or a greater % of federal taxes than they ever have. Tax rate %s are meaningless. Tax $s is what counts.

That district is a pain in the ***. Nobody seems to hold it very long. I could see Ortiz winning narrowly in 2020 and holding it in 2022 if Trump wins but losing it in 2022 if Trump loses.

People don't know their history. Back in 1951 when we had a 70% tax, there were more loopholes than you could shake a stick at. Rich people subject to the 70% tax paid less than the poor people back then.
