Its happening now because Trump lost (popular votes and electoral votes). Because he lost now the right wing conspiracy theories run rapid all thanks to Trumps tweets and his own mind he still won (and Trump supporters minds). Right wingers have to find some excuse to his loss. In the circles it is unbelievable, something or someone rigged it so he would lose. It is inconceivable to not have him for another 4 years. Again, I voted for the man, but this **** is childish and ya'll need to move on. Trump needs to do the same thing. He is only hurting himself and the country by not letting the transition happen right now. He will be the coward he is to the end. On Jan 20th, instead of being in DC and handing over the Office to the next President (like a true leader should), he will be in Florida or at a "rally" of his supporters telling them that he still won and the inauguration is a fraud. There is no widespread voter fraud. There is no "smoking gun". Sure there are errors (human and nonhuman) in EVERY election. But come on...

I don't think there was massive cheating 4 years ago. I think Trump's people were surprised how much some (think Vlad) didn't want HRC to win and said "sure here's some stuff, do your thing". While that's psy-ops and possibly unethical it's not "cheating in the election".

A portion of people crossed the line to vote against HRC 4 years ago. They came home. A portion of people crossed the line this time to vote against this dude. Makes sense to me.

 

I think the reason for bringing up the Russian hoax is because both sides are in a knife fight for power and they don't want to accept election results. The Left put the country through the Mueller Report saga and the impeachment. They did it arrogantly, sanctimoniously and without apology. To get mad at Trump versus what happened back then is ridiculous. Sure, he needs to get over it but the Left refused to accept losing for the entire four years. In fact, it was so bad that your applause emoji is a joke.

 

First off the applause emoji is for the attempt to spin not for the hoax. I did not agree with it (the impeachment) then and I don't now. I think that Nadler and Schiff should at expelled from Congress. But Pelosi will not let that happen.

It does not give them an excuse in a purely Constitutional sense. But in the political climate of today, questioning the results in several very close vote counts is hardly anything to question as compared to what happened.

Should Trump trust the process even when we know mistakes are made? Sure. Why not. Now what about what the Left did? It was swept under the rug as was Hunter. It's all so ridiculous to me. The haughty elitism of the Left is sick. That's my opinion.

 

You know Bubba sometimes I do find yours posts in lightening - sometimes so don’t get me wrong here (jk you) - and the last one did give me pause. I’ve said elsewhere the raw increase in votes for Biden is why I question the validity of results but you put forth some considerations meaningful to the opposition.
There are just so many things that smell funny I cannot completely buy the aspect of no chicanery but I do think it’s time to bite the proverbial bullet and work the transition. My wife will kill me if she hears me say that but put me in the bag of so fed up with everything I’m giving up the fight. I truly do fear for what Kamala et al, will bring to my Country.
